Construction Dumpster Rental in Mooresville, NC
Jobsite roll-offs and fast swap-outs for builders, remodelers and general contractors working Mooresville, Lake Norman and the north Charlotte growth corridor.
A jobsite container is a production tool. When it is full and nobody can pull it, framing stops, the site gets unsafe and the inspector notices. We schedule swaps around your build sequence rather than our route sheet.
We work with GCs, custom builders, remodelers and specialty trades across Iredell, Mecklenburg, Cabarrus and Lincoln counties. That includes new subdivision builds along the NC-115 and Langtree corridors, custom lake homes with difficult access, and gut renovations of eighty-year-old houses in older Mooresville and Statesville.
Contractor accounts get priority scheduling, next-day swaps, a COI on file and consolidated invoicing. Ask when you call.
Phases we size containers for
Demo and strip-out
The heaviest, densest phase. Plaster, lath, tile and old subfloor come in far heavier than people expect.
Framing and rough-in
Bulky, light offcuts. Volume is the constraint, so a 30 yard earns its keep here.
Roofing and dry-in
Weight-driven. Shingles hit tonnage fast — see roofing dumpsters.
Drywall and finish
Steady moderate volume with a mix of packaging, offcuts and site rubbish.
Sitework and hardscape
Concrete, block, brick and Piedmont clay spoil. These need a dedicated heavy container.
Punch and clean
The final sweep before handover. A 15 or 20 usually covers it.
Multi-unit and light commercial
Sustained volume, scheduled swap cycle rather than call-off.
Storm and remediation work
Urgent turnaround, mixed wet material, often awkward access.
The weight trap on Piedmont jobsites
Red clay, brick and concrete are dense enough that a 20 yard container which still looks half empty can already be several tons over its allowance. That is the single most common way a contractor gets an unexpected line on an invoice around here. The fix is simple: heavy inert material goes in a dedicated 10 yard heavy can, and the mixed C&D debris goes in the 20 or 30. We will flag it when you describe the job rather than after the truck is on the scale.
20 Yard Dumpster
Kitchen guts, multi-room renovations, large cleanouts, deck demo.

On a running job we would rather swap than oversize. A 30 yard that sits half-loaded for three weeks costs you site space and does nothing for cash flow. Tell us the build sequence and we will plan drop and swap dates around demo, framing and finish. On tight lots — and lakefront custom builds are frequently tight — we will look at the site first, mark the placement that keeps the crane and delivery lorry lanes clear, and put plate down over new curbs and driveways.

Construction Dumpster Rental FAQs
How quickly can you swap a full container on a live jobsite?
Next day as standard, and same day for account customers who call before mid-morning. If you know your swap dates in advance, tell us and we will diary them — scheduled swaps almost never slip.
Should I use one 30 yard or two 20 yards?
Depends on the debris. If it is bulky and light — framing offcuts, packaging, insulation — the 30 wins on cost per cubic yard. If there is any weight in it, two 20s with swaps is usually cheaper because you never risk an overweight load that cannot legally leave.
Do you take mixed C&D debris?
Yes. Mixed construction and demolition debris travels together fine. Keep heavy inert material — concrete, brick, block, dirt, tile — in a separate heavy container, and keep NC-banned items such as pallets, appliances, electronics, tires and fluorescent tubes out of the load entirely.
Can you set up a contractor account?
Yes. Accounts get priority scheduling, next-day swaps, consolidated monthly invoicing and a COI held on file. Most of our contractor customers set one up after the second or third job because it removes the paperwork from every booking.
What about asbestos or lead paint in older Mooresville houses?
Anything built before about 1980 needs consideration. Asbestos-containing material cannot go in a general container under any circumstances and needs a licensed abatement contractor. If you suspect it, stop and test. We will happily talk through what we can and cannot take.
